Nairobi National Museum is a 10 – 15 min walking distance from Nairobi City Center (Jevanjee Park). The museum is not only the headquarters of Kenya’s museums, it also houses the Nairobi Snake Park.
The museum shelters historical artefacts and bones of the early man. There are cultural and wildlife remains on display too.
The snake park is home to various species of reptiles such as snakes (pythons, vipers, udders etc), crocodiles, tortoises, among others.
